As the birds are in captivity, it is my responsibility to make sure that they are healthy. This includes making sure that they breed healthy broods.

I use AZZ-Cardfile to monitor each bird's progress. I made a "form" card with set lines to fill out. This card includes all the formatting that I want as well. Then I simply copy it and rename it to whatever the bird's name is. I update the cards as I discover new and exciting things out about my birds. Using the list on the left of the screen, I can very quickly select the file that I want to update.

It makes keeping a log/journal less labour intensive. As my birds grow and progress, I can quickly enter the information without fuss. No more searching for that specific notebook. No more sifting through posty notes. AZZ has all the information neatly gathered in one place. Plus, as my brood grows, so does my list. It is way more adaptable than a notepad. I love it!

Note: this sample file can be easily adapted to keep track of any birds or pets progress.
